
These problems are the foundation for researchers to develop e-learning portals to support the application of blended learning methods, namely a combination of lectures through e-learning and face-to-face lectures. In addition, some Unira Malang students are teachers and employees, so attendance is low. From the results of identification, the problems that occur at Unira Malang at this time are the low interest of students to read the text book. If student motivation is weak, then the possibility of failure is high. The weakness of e-learning is the lack of interaction between students and lecturers. Furthermore, 12 students are not able to perform analytical skills, evaluation, creation, logic and reasoning well in solving all the problems, so they are considered to have low level high order thinking skill.Keywords: PISA, logic and reasoning, analysis, evaluation, creation skillsĮ-learning is a learning method that uses the Internet, Intranet or other computer network media to deliver teaching materials to students so as to provide flexibility from the user side both lecturers and students. From 30 students spread across many Junior High Scoolls in Jember district, 18 students are found to be able to perform logic skills and reasoning, analysis, evaluation, and creation well in resolving some of the problems, thus classified as having high level thinking skills with moderate level. The data collection methods in this research were documentation, test, and interview. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach.

The indicators in this research were the ability of logic and reasoning, analysis, evaluation, and creation. Selanjutnya, 12 siswa tidak mampu melakukan kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, kreasi, logika dan penalaran dengan baik dalam menyelesaikan semua soal, sehingga tergolong memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan level rendah.Kata kunci: PISA, kemampuan logika dan penalaran, kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, kreasi THE HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AT JEMBER DISTRICT IN SOLVING PISA STANDAR-BASED TEST ITEMAbstractThe purpose of this research was to describe the higher order thinking skills of students in solving PISA standar-based test item based on indicators that had been compiled. Hasil penelitian dari 30 siswa yang tersebar di beberapa SMP di Kabupaten Jember didapatkan bahwa 18 siswa mampu melakukan kemampuan logika dan penalaran, analisis, evaluasi, serta kreasi dengan baik dalam menyelesaikan beberapa soal, sehingga tergolong memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan level sedang. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi metode dokumentasi, tes, dan wawancara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam penelitian ini meliputi kemampuan logika dan penalaran, analisis, evaluasi, serta kreasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (Higher Order Thinking Skills/HOTS) siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA berdasarkan indikator yang telah disusun. Dengan demikian, produk pengembangan pada penelitian ini dapat digunakan dalam mengakomodasi pembelajaran mahasiswa pada matakuliah Pengembangan Kurikulum dan Pembelajaran Biologi. Hasil uji menghasilkan produk yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu lembar validasi, angket kepraktisan, dan tes hasil belajar. Subjek penelitiannya adalah 29 orang mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Biologi semester 4 (2019/2020).

Jenis penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp, yang terdiri atas fase 1) preliminary investigation, 2) design, 3)realization/construction, dan 4) test, evaluation & revision. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat perkuliahan berbasis aplikasi LMS Moodle Lentera pada matakuliah Pengembangan Kurikulum dan Pembelajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Therefore, the development product in this research can be used to accommodate students' learning in Curriculum Development and Learning Biology course. The test results indicated valid, practical, and effective products. The instruments used in data collection are validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The research subjects were 29 students of the fourth semester of Biology Education Study Program (2019/2020). The research type used was development research with the Plomp development model, consisting of phases 1) preliminary investigation, 2) design, 3) realization/construction, and 4) test, evaluation & revision.

This study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective lecture devices based on Lentera application of Moodle Learning Media System (LMS) for Curriculum Development and Learning course.
